You and a group of friends have decided to create a program that can be offered to high school students. This program would help students learn about the issues and laws surrounding the use of credit. Using the Internet, locate information that could be used in your program.

You must include the following information:

• How to use credit wisely
• How to recognize potential credit problems
• How the credit protection laws work
•             Fair Credit Reporting Act
•             Fair Credit Billing Act
•             Fair Credit Collection Practices Act
•             Consumer Credit Protection Act
• Why bankruptcy is a last resort

YOU MUST HAVE A TITLE FOR YOUR PROGRAM.

Part One

Create a flyer (advertisement) for your program.

Part Two

Create a one-page handout you will give to students who attend the program. It should contain information from your research on the above topics. Remember that information should be organized and presented in such a way that it is easily read. No one likes to read long run-on paragraphs.

Staple both assignments together to turn in.
