· Copyright law goes back to the invention of the printing press. The first copyright law enacted in the U.S. is the Copyright Act of 1790. Since then, there have been major and minor revisions to the act in 1831, 1865, 1870, 1909, 1912, and 1976. Look up the Copyright Act on the Internet. Determine why it was changed each time. Create a time line describing the changes.
· What types of intellectual property can be protected by a copyright? Make a bulleted list.
· Insert a 72 pt copyright symbol somewhere on the document.
